There is a beautiful jazz standard, Lush Life, that is one of my favorite songs. It was written in the 1930s and since then, it has been covered by everyone from Sarah Vaughn to Lady Gaga to Queen Latifah (who sings my favorite version) on her album the Dana Owens Album.
