I used to be a completionist but after forcing myself to read 'The Goldfinch' I started to accept there are some books I don't find worth finishing...and my goodness, in 2024 I abandoned *so many* books. But also still managed to read over 100.
Love these lists! Just quit Colored Television because I’m not in the headspace for cringing through bad decisions but hope I pick it up again someday!
Yes re: _Entitlement_! What happened?! I tried to keep going but good gravy! The pace felt glacial, plot meandering and not one character I gave a damn about. DNF.

Also the Miranda July substack is amassing a group of avid readers, brought together by her “menopause memoir” All Fours. We’ve collected a list of books we’ve recommended to one another. Sharing here in case it’s useful: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1slNxGZWbpua87hOVr7YpAp-FBGmhV73uD1mN1ahQpQM/edit
I just finished This Book Will Save Your Life by AM Holmes and loved it
With each passing day my time gets shorter and my TBR gets longer!
Thank you for this 💙

I am not a fast reader but I added a few of these to my list. Thank you for the ideas and inspiration.
