Just picked my copy up yesterday! I've loved Linda's writing forever (like two decades maybe?!) and her novels are just wonderful. Looking forward to cracking this one open and to the discussion!

I'm a little blown away at how different this book sounds from your description as compared to the Audible description. I don't think I would have read the book on the basis of their synopsis, but yours makes me want to read it. I'm in!

Linda Holmes DOES NOT MISS. I listened to Back After This and loved that Holmes also narrated it (Julia Whelan did her first two books and is also phenomenal). Living DC adjacent made this an even more enjoyable read :) 10/10 no notes

The Audacious Book Club doing The Heart Principle in 2021 is the only reason I started reading contemporary romances. I am now obsessed.

Started reading yesterday. I appreciate Holmes features protagonists in their 30s. I’m interested in seeing how this one turns out—I’m already surprised by Eliza and rooting for Cecily and Will.

I'm so excited about this one! I've followed Linda online for years, but somehow never read her books. In anticipation of this month's pick, I read Evvie Drake Starts Over and loved it! Now I'm about halfway through Back After This and I'm so into it. Great book so far. Really excited for the discussion.
