Opinions, the Paperback Edition
Out now, from your favorite literature purveyor aka independent bookstore
Last year, I published my latest book, Opinions: A Decade of Arguments, Criticism, and Minding Other People’s Business and today, that book is now out in paperback! It would make a great gift and it’s a great read, if I do say so myself. Opinions is a compilation of much of the opinion writing I’ve done over the past ten years, mostly for The New York Times. It offers an interesting timeline from Obama’s final days as president to the rise of Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans and Black Lives Matter and #MeToo and all of the social upheavals we’ve witnessed and/or experienced in recent years. I hope you get yourself a copy or check it out from your local library.
And, on February 18th, The Portable Feminist Reader will be out with sexy cover art from Nina Chanel Abney.
What are you reading lately that you’re enjoying? I am loving Guide Me Home by Attica Locke who writes Southern noir so damn well. I’m deep in the mystery right now and I just want to know what tf is going on!
I love Attica Locke’s books so much and can’t wait to read Guide me Home . I read Calling for a Blanket Dance by Oscar Hokeah and loved it. Very excited Opinions is in paperback!
Attica Locke has been one of my absolute favorite recent discoveries! Yay for paperback & new book releases! I’ve been really enjoying Leigh Bardugo’s books - Ninth House & Hell Bent were *a ride*!
