I read his book on eviction. I drive thru Milwaukee occasionally an it's very sad. I feel very guilty that I have so much and many have so little, including one of my children. I grew up in Ireland and they are going through the most horrific housing situation, I won't ago into details, but it has forced many families to live on the streets. Thanks for recommending this book and I'm looking forward to reading it.
I watched the author interviewed on Amanpour & Co yesterday. "Refreshing candidness" — yes. Looking forward to listening, even though I know it'll make me feel uncomfortable. But I understand this part of his message: the avoidance of discomfort by some is contributing to pain and suffering for others. This is an "urgent" book.
