Also, was in Florida last week and was chatted up at a bar by a civil servant who was about to lose half her team to DOGEfest. She was absolutely SHOCKED that "government efficiency" was playing out like this. Ma'am, the leopards are indiscriminate in their face eating.
Wow, I clicked on the link for the TikTok Dogs on a bus, as recommended in the Audacious Roundup newsletter, only to be led to the Washington Post paywall. What the fuck? Signed, a paid subscriber.
Well, The Washington Post is now owned by Jeff Bezos, and we all dislike that and him, right? I just felt that having to pay to read a link you provided here was a bit ironic. Anyway, I did not feel anger writing my comment but more like feeling playful, humorous. Sorry to have upset you.
I'm not upset. I asked a question and thanks for your answer. Bezos has owned the post since 2013. And there are all kinds of resources out there for getting around paywalls. I didn't expect anyone to pay to read anything. I don't control the paywalls of other publications nor do I know if readers have exceeded their free reads for a given publication.
Good Party City news for LA folks-two stores in the Valley are continuing! The one on Ventura even had to get a banner made to reassure people they’re staying open. Certainly not the most important news this week, but any small dose of good news is a relief.
Teen! Vogue!

Excuse me? I don’t understand the anger here. Please clarify.

That is welcome news!
