Whew so lovely… ❤️ My best advice, keep talking to her. Abundant love to you and your family and of course to your amazing Mother. Peace & Love to her on her continued journey now. ✨💜✨
What an extraordinary, loving act you have performed. You have committed your mom's life and your love for her, the love everyone had for her, to words, sweet, unforgettable words. May her words, her voice, the memory of her grace be forever a blessing to you, your family, and her friends. 🌞❤️
In a few weeks it will have been twelve years since my mother died. I have been trying to write an Obit ever since. Reading yours not only brought me to tears, but gives me hope that I can find the words. Of course, as a mother myself, I've often wondered what my children would say about me--so much of my lifetime spent with them, given to them, but also so much I keep to my self, or that they never knew about me. Your love for your mother, for who she really is, including the many pictures of her not smiling (also me), is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. I've been cutting back on expenses and will soon no longer be a member here but just know I am grateful for all of you work and your heart.
Roxane, I felt this deeply. A baby of ten (mexican catholic) and now without mother, daddy, brother and sister, the gutting feels fresh at times; but other times, as you write, their loss feels more like an addition to a new world. Really appreciate you sharing. Your mother is a gem to carry with you always.
What a beautiful tribute. I feel as though I knew her. Thank you for sharing your memories.
Now *I* love her. 💔

This is a beautiful series of memories and a worthy tribute to your mother. The "favorite child" designation had me laughing, even knowing the loss.
May we all live so well.
Much love to you and yours xx
