For me, This is a great reminder why in the early stages of the novel I’m having such an embodied emotional response to the novel without knowing why. Through the polyvogal novel we are being exposed to the multitudes the characters contain. We are all shaped by our thoughts, feelings and behaviors and by others. I really enjoy this perspective and think the polyvogal novel contextualizes and shows the nuance and complexity of being human. I’m only 100 pages in and I’m looking forward to responding to this prompt as I get to know the characters better.

I also really liked Hot Springs Drive.
I’m halfway through and really enjoying the book but not going to read about it until I’m finished. I enjoy the polyvocal aspect too. Gives it depth.
